PTM- paint to match

Has anyone ever painted their chrome bumpers to match body color? I have a dark torador red flareside and i want to PTM the front and rear bumpers. Any input would be great, thanks.

Sanded starting with 100 grit then 200 next 500 lastly wet sanded with 1000. Then 3-4 coats of paint and a.few coats of clear and its holding up great no flaking or chipping.
