Im sorry if this is a dumb question, im looking at mufflers to have installed in my 97 f150 4.6 and settled on carven r series. If i have two welded in a line (one after the other) would it make it louder or am i just stupid and it be no louder then just having one?

 

2 in line will make it quitter. Unless you have single chamber mufflers that will be too loud, then you can put them inline for a really mellow sound. Did that to mine, really like the sound
