hey guys right now I have a magnaflow cat back ES 15749. I was wondering if i could exchange out the mag muffler for like a flowmaster or a cherry bomb as long as its the same size 5 x 8 x 18in. this should work right?

 

If your going for a good flowing muffler I'd stay with the one you have. But if your going for a louder exhaust but want good flow go with the flowmaster outlaw.. It's straight through with no ceramic glass packing. You got good flow better than most and a loud exhaust.. Aero turbine is another one. It's gonna run you more money cause it's all stainless steel. And it's also straight through no ceramic glass packing. But it sounds like you have a turbine in your exhaust way cool Dyno max is good it's like magnaflow and they have a muffler called a dyno max bullet it's like the flowmaster outlaw but the dyno max bullet has ceramic glass packing. So it's like a cherry bomb glass pack but shorter.

 

And as far as your question yes it should work.. As long as the flowmaster or cherry bomb are the same length. And keep in mind too flowmasters are louder but most are chambered like your stock muffler. So your not gonna get good flow just good sound same with cherry bomb.
