if i gut my cats will it make my check engine light come on?

 

yes put the sensors in the straight pipes. but leave the front cats alone. you need all 4 02 sensors. with gutted rears, and sensors in place you will not get a light. if you mess with fronts, cats or sensors, you will get a light. also i would highly recommend not messin with it all if you have an emmissions test. my truck passed with the rear cats gutted miraculously. but i really had to heat up the fronts. and to replace these things is outrageous, atleast here in cali. goodluck!!
