Question Exhaust for my 1997 xlt

Hi I am seeking advice for a new Cat-Back exhaust system for my 1997 f150 xlt. I plan to use a Glaspack muffler which I will by from my local Autozone. However I need the piping to go with it. I am aiming for a single side outlet utilizing the existing brackets and mounting holes. Thus the materials I require are as follows : exact sizes of the needed pipes, how many different pipes I will need and where to get them .

the car currently has the stock setup which the new pipes should bolt in place after the existing setup is removed. I am going for a target budget for the project from start to finish $100. or less

Any info given is Greatly appreciated

Regards:

Jason

I'd just hack off the stock muffler and put the glass pack in its place. your stock piping size is 2.5in in diameter, if you take the route I mentioned you shouldn't need much piping, only to make up for the length difference in the mufflers

are you saying you still have the stock piping after the muffler? if so just use that and buy a glass pack to fit that pipe. also buying pieces from an auto parts store can get really expensive, i doubt youll be able to keep it under 100 cause the pipes are what 8 bucks a piece then the clamps are another 3-4? and you have to buy a clamp for every section of pipe...
