Default Exhaust help

I have a 1999 f150 4.6, I want to replace the full exhaust with something that's loud but not to the point where it's annoying I was looking at the super 44 or 40 series. But I'm not sure. Tell me what you think is best.

Mpg won't really be affected unless you do long tube headers and maybe get rid of the rear cats, and really it may only be 1mpg difference. Magnaflow is an awesome exhaust brand, it's a little more expensive than flowmaster but it'll give you a deep rumble without the annoying ping/ding of flowmaster or a thrush/cherrybomb. Go have some fun on youtube looking at exhausts until you make up your mind.. and if you're trying to go cheap i'd just replace the muffler, around 80 bucks and should totally change the should.

I have a flowmaster super 44 single in dual out. Mine is dumped at the rear of the cab, it's ok but has a lot of drone at highway speeds. When I redo the exhaust I will be going with hi flow cats and magnaflow mufflers.

Your not really gonna get an mpg gain from exhaust, if anything a power and sound gain which equals a mpg loss cause your always stepping on it to hear it! Lol
But seriously save yourself some money. Just get a Y pipe instead of a muffler and give it dual pipes. Sounds great.
