I have a 98 4.6l 4x4 XLT and my factory manifolds are shot, thinking about going with headers but not sure which ones would be best. I have been looking at the stainless JBA shorty's. Currently have catback duals, also want to change to true duals. Any advice would be appreciated. Also is there any changes that need to be made if I go with headers.

 

A lot of the others on this forum are suggesting the JBA headers. Don't cheap out and not get the silver ceramic coating so they last longer and work better at keeping the exhaust heat in the pipes so that the air flow stays up.
