well last summer i upgraded my 97 5.4 exhaust from stock to some catback flowmaster single in dual out, i love the sound, i just want it to be louder and a little lower, any suggestions or ideas? thanks

 

Look into swapping the muffler for a short SI/DO Magnaflow or two single Borla XR-1/Dynomax bullets. This will get it lower sounding and a little louder. If you want louder after that, then start looking into a rear cat delete or high flows.

 

hello, i have a 2000 extended cab 5.4 4x4 and i have SI/DO Magnaflow exhaust. my buddy has a 1997 5.4 4x4 and has the flowmasters like yourself and we both agree that my truck (betty) sounds better

SI/DO Magnaflow is a great investment
