Default Exhaust

hey everyone,

I bought a 98 f150 stepside 4.6L with 162k on the clock back in August. Having fun with it, however i want a meaner sound. I have a set of $20 glasspacks sitting in my closet, but i would like to invest in a decent quality exhaust. I love the sound that SLP Loudmouth 2's make on my parents 03 Mach 1. How would they sound on an F-truck?

I also have plans of a full exhaust setup, headers on back. Should i go with equal or unequal shorties? I dont want anything too fancy, but dont want to cheap out either. Any ideas on a good cat-back brand and pipes, H or X?

Possibly tomorrow im going out to get a K+N cold air intake and TBS, so im good on the in side.

Thanks!

-John

I would start with a cutting the 2 rear cats out and putting a super44 flowmaster on then dual it out the back.
