Default Exhaust

I did a search but couldn't find any threads really on this.

My friend has a 4.7 ram with no mufflers with cats and it sounds great! I have a 99 4.6 and was looking to do the same but was wondering how it would sound, and if it can harm your engine?

If yall have a 4.6 or even a 5.4 w/muffler delete, please post a video.

Opinions?

Thanks guys!

I have a 5.4l but ran it without a muffler for about a month. Sounded really good in my opinion. Deep and throaty but like said it did have a little rasp in higher rpms. No video though. sorry.

I have a 4.6 with the cats on and a flowmaster 40 series with no pipe out the back of the muffler and it sounds great, really raspy but not too bad at higher rpms.

Alright Thanks, I guess I might go for it. Can it cause harm to your engine?

No, as long as you don't mess with the cats. It will sound really good though.

Alright, glad that yall like yours.

So I was just about to cut it off and was looking online, mostly chevy forums said this..people were say no muffle is WAY to loud and sometimes leave interior vibrations...

I don't want it to sound like I have no exhaust whatsoever and I deft. don't want my cab to rattle. Its a 99 but I baby it and I'm a auto detailer so I try to keep it feeling as new as possible and don't want it to feel like a old abused machine. Also drone doesn't matter, I am usually between 35-50 and if on highway not more than 30 minutes.

So I am just wondering will it vibrate, and just be too loud?
