Default exaust temp question

i need new cats and am low on money so im wondering if i could use jb weld to hold the new one in jb is rated at 500o how hott is the exaust??

Hotter than that - I'm a big fan of J-B weld, But on exhaust stuff like that doesn't work very well.

Just thought about it - what exactly are you trying to do ?

put in new cats but i dont have access to a welder i wana go with hi flows and the o2 sensor spacer thing

well you need a welder if you dont have one or if you can barrow one you g0t the right idea with welding the o2 plate to the cat and welding the cat to the man. pipe... is it melted inside cause you usually dont need new ones unless you got bigger problems i got a 97 with well over 300,000 on it runnun orignal everything... besides basic ****
