Glad to see such a deserving truck win one of these contests.
It's always guys with the biggest bank account, the newest machine and the ability to just drop it off at the dealer/custom shop and pick it up when it's done that win these sorts of contests on truck/atv/car forums
Congrats on the win, and restoring such a beauty to it's former glory.

Just went through all 22 pages of this thread! Unreal truck Capri! You deserved the TOTM win. Being from Canada and restored a 1998 Ranger that had been through 15 Canadian winters I know a bit of how you felt about the rust! Heres just 2 pictures of it to give you an idea of what I did. Did some brake lines, suspension, starter, tons of body work, tires, rims, rotors, calipers, drums etc etc. I really appreciate these kinds of threads. Wish I would of done one for my Ranger before I sold it. Keep up the good work!

I thin capri's truck was very deserving as well, but I don't agree with the quoted part of your statement at all. Pretty much everyone on this forum does most of their own work.

So glad I just found this. AWESOME! Jaw dropping. Read through non stop and couldn't get away from the computer. My truck isn't quite as bad but it sat through a lot of winters up north. Only has 75k miles and all I want to do is get rid of the rust and crud....someday. Need another vehicle for that time period. Absolutely amazing. I would have been a kid waiting to get home after school had I seen this when it was happening.
