Engine wont turn over

Default Engine wont turn over

Im having problems with my 98 f150 4.6L. I turn the key and theirs one kind of loud click.my starter Is new also so is my battarie all connections are good. Would my engine be stuck?

Its not stuck. There is a relay on your firewall that has gone bad. Turn your key on and take a screwdriver and cross the two large posts. The engine should turn over and start.

Thank you that made it start turning over but now no gas seems to pass threw. I have a new gas pump but do you think thay becaues its been sitting for a while something happened or could i be something else? I tried starter fluid but that did nothing.

Did you turn the ignition key to the on position?

Default Engine wont turn over

Dont feel bad if you didnt but go ahead and pick up a new relay. Bolt it up and try the key. Listen for the fuel pump before you turn the key all the way forward to crank it over.
