engine troubles!!!!help
ight heres the story.. i have a 97 f-150 4x4 4.6L with keys blocks body lift and 37's on 17's flowmaster and a custom intake that i made with a throttle body spacer.. i was driving my truck last nite and my check engine light started flashin for about a min so i pulled over a shut it off. cranked it back and the engine light stayed on and wouldnt go off and was idlein rough. this morning i took my battery cables off and reconnected em . engine light is now off buts its still idlein rough???? any help would be nice cause i'm scarred to drive it ha maybe that lil 4.6 will blow up and i'll get me a blown 5.4L ha

If the 'check engine' light is coming on, suggest to have the codes pulled to see if that gives any direction.
Could be any one or combination of many things. Need more information, such as does it continue to run rough if the engine speed is increased? When was the last time general maintenance such as fuel filter, plugs, etc. were done?
It's just hard to even hazard a guess at this point.
