Default Engine Ticking

Good morning and Happy Holidays all! I am looking for some advice on my 2003 5.4l Screw. The motor has 240000 miles on it. For as long as I can remember, the motor has a tick during operation. However, the tick only happens right around 2700 rpm. Once I have the motor below or above 2700, the noise goes away. I have checked all the plugs to make sure they are tight. I am leaning either towards lifters or timing chains, neither of which have been touched. The only thing that throws me off if that the noise is not consistent, other than at 2700 rpm. I also haven't been able to tie the noise to either side of the motor. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Get you a stethoscope ( auto zone has them) and listen at the front timing cover. Mostly toward the bottom. Is your oil pressure lower than it has been in the past??
