I think they would be seeing if the oil drain plug is in correctly and I am not loosing oil as no oil = tick.

 

One would think if oil is gone that checking the place it's meant to come out would only be common sense. Who knows. Maybe I'm off my rocker. No matter. I stand by my first post. Bring it to a shop. Manifolds or sparkplug, get fixed. Anything else probably isn't worth it.

No oil = no noise after the knock then it won't start
