Default Engine Swapping?!

SO I'm tired of this 4.6L Romeo crap I have in my truck right now...they are GARBAGE! I am wanting to swap this engine out and install an older 302 or 351, something with a carb. I figure it shouldn't be too much of a problem? AM I wrong? I know I'll need another enigne, tranny and transfer case as I'm sure the stuff in there now won't match up to an older motor...doesn't matter as I think it'll be better in the long run. Easier to maintain. I am just wondering if anyone on here has done this and if they encountered any problems or should I just say screw it and sell it and upgrade too a CHEV!! Bad word on here I guess! LOL.

Just finished watching NASCAR. Was I dreaming or did Ford finish 1-2-3. In my opinion your name is fitting for a person wanting to quote "upgrade to a Chevy"! Just messing with you, your messed up opinion is your priveledge. I'm sure someone can answer the question of the engine swap.
