Default Engine swap

i have a 2003 supercrew with a 4.6, im wondering if anyone has done an engine swap to a 5.4 im wondering if i have to change the transmission as well or the computer

I did a 4.6 NPI to a 5.4 PI not too long ago...its not bad, lol especially when you remove the cab.

Add an inline coolant temp sensor location...since the 97' 4.6 used 2 sensors and the 01' 5.4 used 1. New 5.4 torque converter, had to bend the EGR tube to fit with the taller deck height, fabricate coil pack brackets, the exhaust i was able to manipulate around to fit, and a programmer. --- Ill have to sit and think about it...but off the top of my head thats about it. Let me know if your interested: I have pics of the entire process.

im about to have to replace my 4.6 will you pm me on how long it took you and how much it cost and parts needed etc?
