Default Engine shut off while driving

I just replaced my transmission range sensor and drove my 1997 Ford f150 and my engine died while driving but the battery is new what's wrong?
I drove the truck for about 20 mins after replacing the transmission range sensor no problems. A hour later went to work that's less than a mile a way and the truck died in the parking lot. The radio, headlights, dashboard, door lights all was on but there was no clicking sound when I went to restart it, after a few times it came back to life. I pulled into a parking spot and it died again. Restarted the truck on the first time and pulled into the right parking area. Restarted it again to see if was gonna do it again n it didn't. Help!

Could have a bad ignition switch. Could also have a bad PCM relay.
