I have K&N's in all my vehicles. Alaska is very dusty due to all the glaciers. Fram/Motorcraft and etc filters just don't do it. I've used this brand since the 90's in most of my prior vehicles also. I have never had one problem with a MAF sensor in my Fords. GM, oh yeah, but not the single little MAF Ford uses.
I clean my air filter, use a light spray, let it sit for 30 minutes and reinstall it when the oil is changed and done. I have never noticed a difference in my performance, but the idle is much more even with the K&N vs stock filter. I noticed this more in my 07 Mustang, than in the f150's I have.

I wound up tearing apart an amp just to have a look-see and found a bunch o' leaking caps in it. With Jbrews help identifying an issue or two, it'll be good as new when I get those replaced.
I also went ahead and made up my mind on my back... I decided I will do surgery. I can't take this shiznit any longer.

I had to go back the second time to have more pieces removed that seemed attached during the first surgery. I finally had to have a 3rd surgery to fuse L4, L5 and S1. They put in an L plate and hooked it all together. The pain at times is really not acceptable, but I will be damned if I will go back for a 5th surgery. I had a fourth one, where they went in again to remove more pieces from the L3. I was on Fentanyl for my pain meds, and was doing fine, until the CDC decided that it was too powerful of a drug. They have made me taper off from 100mic's a patch, now down to 25mics each. That is a 300% loss of pain relief. NOT GOOD.
I certainly hope you will have better results than I did. Everyone is different, so you may be fine. Good luck White89GT.

I certainly hope that your back surgery goes well. I had it done in 2004 and have regretted it ever since. The first surgery they fixed a couple cracked vert's, and had to remove some pieces of broke off bone.
