Do you think that, that is why it is over heating? Could u explain a little more, I new to understand it better so I can give my dad information because he thinks it's a cracked head. We've had the cylinder 4 misfire long before we replaced the intake manifold.

Think it could be the intake gasket?

Head gasket is bad. Bubbles = = exhaust gases in the coolant/false boil affect/=head gasket failure.

Yea, it's normal to see the presence of some bubbles in the cooling system, but the presence of lots of bubbles in the cooling system is a sign of cylinder head gasket failure.

It's also called a False Boil because it looks as though the coolant is boiling. Be careful, but watch for that in tank with the cap off. Yea be careful, -it can jump out at yuh, so don't look straight on. Watch thru the side of the tank. Might have to clean it first lol.

Anyway, if this suspect, run up to the parts store and pick up kit that tests for combustion gases in the coolant. They're cheap and it's the easiest way to determine a head gasket.

Personally, once the head gaskets go, I'm done with that engine and find another good used one. I have my reasons, but, that's up to you of course.

I will try a kit after school, do u think it could be the manifold gasket? What would cause antifreeze to push back out through the resivior
