Default Engine light

1997 Expedtion 4.6 Engine light keeps comming on OBD2 code says miss fire cilinder 3 and 7 replaced both coils plugs wires still same code keeps coming back am I missing Something? At highways speed has a shutter between 1400 and 1800rpm,

Fuel filter and also change the spark plug.

Strange. You have 2 cyls misfiring, direct opposites, firing in sequence. Possible you have a camshaft or crankshaft positioning sensor going bad. The 97 has 2 coil packs instead of COPs.

I'd check the wiring at the fuel injectors, (most likely not the prob), then I'd pull the sensors and clean them with an electric contact cleaner and reinstall. If either shows damage, make sure to change it out.

Clear the codes before restarting. Try it and see if they go away. Some sensors get damaged due to sloppy chains and bad guides.
