Buy the flashed one that fits your number. It is programmed to do most functions out of the box, where the non flashed has to be set. A flashed one may work for you right out of the box. The only one I installed, said it required a flash, but worked out of the box, and seemed to work great. Just my experience.

I've been looking at these guys here. They program it to your truck, AND it has a lifetime warranty. I am thinking of buying an A9P from them for my Mustang.

They all have to be flashed for 99+. Doesn't matter if it's flashed or not. Only the dealer will be able to program it.
