engine codes ???????

Default engine codes ???????

hello everyone i want to know what these code are for and what could possibly be wrong shes a 2003 4.6 econoline 250 the truck runs good ichanged the 02 sencor all 4 and the plugs semms to only happen in the winter time.i start it on a cold day she runs rough may stall.but when shes warmed up seems to be ok the code #s are p1131 p1151 po171 p174 strange animal think about it if you could thank i am not knowing

DPFE sensor could be the problem, All those codes you listed bring up a bad sensor. I would also check all the vacuum lines for leaking. A good can of Berrymann's B12 will find any vac leak. Anyways, replace the sensor and you should be good to go. It is a very common 4.6 problem on this site. So are those codes. lol

thanks but what is a dpfe sensor i am mildly retarted i think lol is it exspensive easy to change and where is it i am not knowing been a long dayyyy

Those are lean codes you are setting 171 and 174 lean and both other codes are for a lack of switching. Most likely you have a vacuum leak at the intake gaskets. Need to spray brake cleaner/carb cleaner by the intake to head area, check it cold because that's when your problem is occurring. Not an easy job on and e-van. Would check there.

Dpfe sensor will not set these codes. It is the egr pressure sensor. Would set codes for egr 401,404,406,1401,1406. Dpfe would be a waste of 70-100 bucks.
