Nope, I have a 98. All my intake mods went in conjunction with LTH install. Since it all works together. So I can't comment on that. All said and done , I picked up 6 seconds 0-80 on video.

Gotcha. So you P&Ped the I take and Throttle body and added long tubes? How much did you pick up? Maybe 25-30 horses? If I can find a metal PI manifold for cheap I may mess around with it. 6seconds is really impressive. Did you port and Polish it yourself? And you have a volent intake right?

6 seconds is really impressive! What all goes into porting it? I know pretty much nothing about that. Definitely something I'm gonna look into. Did you make the plenum into a single plane?

No, I knifed the plenum, I just posted this somewhere.... Yea, here it is, -

Pretty much. Everything is in my sig. I P&P'ed and knifed the upper intake, port matched the lower. Took the turbulence out of it w/3" Volant tube. Did a sort of gotts mod before that mod even came to be lol. Wheeled in a slight port to the TB , enough to get rid that flypaper garbage Ford put in there, then polished w/ruby red. Since I was going LT's, I did as much to intake that I could, not for more air necessarily, there's more than enough on demand, I did it to smooth it out...the flow. Purely an intake/exhaust mod..Did both as they compliment each other and net the best results.

I've seen two Dyno's from just adding LTH's

Joey's (Built54) when he installed shorties and showed no gains whatsoever. Then he added Dynatech LTH's and showed a 30 hp/35 Tq gain. He got that much from it only because of the compresion increase that PI heads onto a non PI block provided.

The other I seen with headers was on a 4.6L. There wasen't a before dyno which kind of sucks, but with the 4six he was at about 210 RWHP.

I'm not sure with mine, I gained 20 hp at least, but the best part was low end increase. Noticeably better. I pulled a car hauler with that 150, it helped a lot!

If you look Built54's final builds. He got bit by the bug, put a fully built lightning motor in his truck and I think he tried every supercharger on the market lol. If you look up his build and videos, you'll see that 98 couldn't be beat lol. One of fastest street sleepers I've seen in the past.
