The real thing would be better! Still trying to figure out a good kidnapping strategy for you.

And it seems like a good deal. Although I don't know what all you'd need to make it work besides the adapter plate. Ol' Lemenager could tell you for sure.

Wow, same attitude I had when welding my Y solid, - Said F-it, - if it has to come off I cut it off, build a new one if I have to lol. Seriously! It doesn't matter how you clamp it, muffler clamps blow. Seems they all want to leak sometime and somewhere if you don't weld it.
I guess the only downfall to sealing it up tight is building up a ton a moisture on those cold mornings when you don't have far to go. You have to remember to peg the go pedal and flush her out every now and again. But yea, it'll build a huge steam cloud in the winter for a few. Just moisture, - that tailpipe of mine loops over the rear axle. Moisture adds up , traps right there before the axle I expect. Probably should have the tailpipe exit in front of the rear axle/rear tire...like the 97's did. That way gravity would work it out.. ehh?

Trust me, I don't have a problem pressing down on the go pedal lol without cats, I have a huge cloud at all times behind my tailpipe. Especially when it's really cold. My truck smokes like a m'fer.

Should get done later this week.

Anyone got a part number for 02 expy 2wd front rotors and loaded calipers with metal Pistons? Or links to some.

I'm wanting to get them bookmarked on my phone for when I eventually upgrade my brakes.

Rockauto should point you in the right direction. Just cross reference part numbers to make sure they are different than your current ones.

I'd what the part number for my current ones are, plus I shouldn't have to worry anyways since I have a 97 with 12mm studs.

My plan for when I go to upgrade brakes is to do the regular swap stuff with the front then swap the rear axle out for a 01-03 9.75 rear axle from a 150 so I can get rear disc brakes too.

Instead of doing an expy swap why not just switch to drilled and slotted f150 rotors? Might be less headache than dealing with different part numbers

Cause I want to swap to 14mm studs and I want to swap to disc brakes in the back
