Default Engine almost running 100%

So its very slight but it seems like my engine just isn't running perfeclty at idle. It just doenst sound perfectly smooth and has a little shake almost like its slightly stumbling. It also isnt too happy about shifting to third unless i give it a little bit more gas than i normally would in any other vehicle. Any ideas on a solution? Thanks guys

Never for all of those from what i know. It has 60k miles on it and is a 2000 4.6l. The transmission died about 500 miles ago and it was replaced with a Jasper transmission.

Start with all the basic maintenance. The shifting into third could either be misfire or transmission. I'd also suggest a transmission fluid exchange in a few more miles to get any rebuild debris out of the transmission. Ford use to install auxiliary filters on their rebuilt transmissions to catch some of the debris.

Thanks for the advice otto. I definitely will try these. I think my transmission fluid should be fine though; Jasper wouldnt warrant the transmission unless an auxilary radiator was attached to the front of the old one.
