Default Electrical Problems - 2001 F150 Lariat

I have a 2001 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 5.4L in factory condition with the exception of a Viper 5301 Remote Start installed by Best Buy 3-4 years ago.

The truck has rarely been driven in the last year. I loaned it to my mother to use for a while. It sat for a couple of weeks so I went to pick it back up. When I went to start the truck, the battery was dead and needed a jump. It started just fine but I noticed smoke coming out from under the driver side dash. I immediately shut it off and towed it home.

I now have a grocery list of electrical problems:

Under Dash fuse panel has 2 fuses that keep blowing.
Fuse #15 - 5 Amp
Fuse #22 - 10 Amp

Power Windows Do Not Work

Power Mirrors Do Not Work

Interior Lights Do Not Work

Windshield Wipers Do Not Work

Washer Fluid Pump Does Not Work

Heat/AC & Blower Motor Does Not Work

Right Blinker Indicator On Dash Does Not Light Up

Vehicle Will Not Shut Off With The Ignition Key - Must Pull Battery Lead

I was able to connect my code reader/programmer to the OBDII port and gather 60 cycles of Live data while the truck was running.

There is no CEL and there are no stored or pending codes.

When truck is running, I have 14.58 Volts at the battery. All exterior lighting works fine. Vehicle shifts and drives fine. With all of these electrical problems I cannot use the vehicle.

Could the Remote Start have failed after working for years?

Could the bypass module for the remote start be causing issues?

Could the computer have failed?

Any ideas or suggestions on where to start looking?

I could really use some help with this one.

Data from code reader is attached.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone have any ideas? My wife's transmission went out and so I need to get this truck fixed ASAP to drive while we fix her vehicle. When it rains it pours...

Fried gem module.. You need to crawl under the dash to see what wiring went up in smoke. It possibly took out the fuse box too. The main cause of theis is a front windshield leaking.

Try cleaning all the ground wire.

After your advice I did some additional research on the GEM Module. Every symptom my vehicle was having can be explained by it malfunctioning.

I removed the GEM Module and inspected the board... sure enough, there were burnt components and broken traces. The GEM Module is bad.

I inspected the windshield and area leading to the GEM Module and Fuse Box. I did not see any signs of water entry or damage (thankfully).

I've seen mixed reviews on whether or not to change the Fuse Box at the same time as the GEM. Do people just change both at the same time?

Thanks for the help on this.
