I have a 2002 f150, every time I move my truck past neutral the 4x4 light on the dash lights up for a sec and goes away. Also my windows won't work for a min until the 4x4 light blinks again. The only way I can get my 4x4 to work is to put it in 4 low then put it in 4 high. I also have the electric switch for the 4 wheel drive. Thanks for any responses.

Oh and it's not only the windows that don't work, it's also the windshield wipers and interior lights that don't work until the 4x4 light blinks. When it does blink it sounds like a relay clicking

 

Hate to say but start testing all fuses inside and under the hood a lot cheaper to test all that befor u start changing parts

 

Your GEM is bad.

Fix your leaky windshield and replace the GEM.
