Hey all,
I just purchased a 2003 F150 4.6 super cab from my job.
I love the truck but it has a couple of issues, it is why I got it cheap I think lol.
1- With my ignition switch, I have no accessories option with the key switch location. I have to have the truck in the on position to play the radio. I am wondering if I might need a new switch or maybe something is not connected. It switches to a spot that should be for the accessories but nothing happens.
2-The truck doesn’t start up at times, the security light in the center counsel flashes. I have to leave the truck alone for like 5 minutes or try my other key to make it start. Any suggestions?
3-The cab lights don’t work, I have checked all of the bulbs and fuses.
Any help would be great, I am new on the fourms.

Fleet trucks are always full of odd ball problems... clueless on #1 and #3, when you say cab lights, you mean the dome/door lights or does it have roof clearance lights?

As for the truck not starting and a light in the center console, is the truck equipped with an aftermarket alarm?

 

Yeah, the dome and the bed lights don't come on when I open the doors. The switch on the console doesn't turn them on either.

 

Result?

 

That dome light problem may be in the headlight switch. I would pick one up for cheap and see if that remedies the problem.
