I really want to upgrade to an electric fan I just dont have the funds to get the troyer kit like I wish I could. Ive read on here that alot of you guys have used a crown vic fan instead. I will be going to the junk yard as soon as I know what I need to get. Obviously I will need the fan but I have no clue what else I need to get to complete my upgrade. Thanks in advance.

 

search pro comp cooling fans on ebay. you will spend around 80 bucks to your door and have a high quality fan. ive had mine on for 10,000 miles and still going strong! saves a heck of alot of fuel too. btw you can get 2 18" fans on a 99 f150 4.6

 

What do you think about me running a fan out of an SS trailblazer guy from work wants $30 with controller will it work

 

unless you do serious off roading in very hot places it wont over heat as long as somethings moving air through it. id try it if it doesnt work for you sell it on ebay and get a pro comp
