Edge or Hypertech

Just wondering what you guys' opinions are on these two tuners. Which one do you think will perform better, and why ? From reading the web sites, the Hypertech claims higher numbers.

all the companies claim they're better. unless you plan on custom tunes, programmers are pointless.

I have an edge evolution CS and honestly i probably wouldnt notice much difference at all if i couldnt mess with the transmission shift firmness

Hypertech claims higher numbers, but their strategy is largely inferior when put out in the real world. Edge is good, or if you want even better a custom tuned Gryphon.
