Edge evolution tuner
Found an edge evolution tuner for sale in my local craigslist for $150 and I was wondering of there was anything I should look out for? Is this a good deal? I'm just trying to get back the lost power and Mpgs from my 35s. Thanks.

Which specific model? Post the model #.
The original Evo for the 1997-2003's had cable issues and should be avoided (risk of bricking yer PCM).
If it's a 15051 it won't work on yer truck.
CS/CTS are fine - but at that price I doubt it's one of those ( if it is it's a steal).
Most importantly - you should insist upon PROOF the unit is not VIN-locked to another vehicle - a pic showing the unit at Level 0 will do that. Otherwise, pass, as the unlock fee from Edge is steep.
Lastly - while a programmer can reclaim some lost power, there won't be a mileage improvement - the power to turn heavier running stock (and overcome the increased rotational inertia) has to come from somewhere ...
Good luck

If it is close by, make an appointment and hook it up to your truck. Only takes a minute for hook up and then you can see it working - or not.
If it is working, a good buy.
If it is working, a good buy.

If the well-known OBDII cable failures for the old models ( pre-15051) corrupts his PCM, it won't be such a good deal
Edge isn't fixing or supplying new cables anymore - and neither is PHP who have dropped support altogether. And there is no one on PHP's forum recommending these - just the opposite, in fact.
Not worth the risk IMHO - and, IMHO, $150 is far too much for this vintage device.
OP - unless it's an unlocked CS/CTS, save up yer money for an SCT programmer.
