Default Edge Evolution programmer - '98 4.6

I got a bit excited and bought an Edge Evolution programmer for my truck. It's had a K&N CAI on it for about 4 years now, and like many here, it tends to run the fuel mix lean (no vacuum leaks, new plugs/wires, all TB and sensor components cleaned with dedicated products). Will the canned programs in this programmer compensate for the CAI, and return the idle (and hence fuel economy) back to normal, or is there something else I need to do?

It won't truly fix the lean issue, only a custom tune can do that, but running level 2 should help with it has it tends to run slighter richer.

I have one and actually speak from experience. Run the performance tune while not making and "custom" changes. It will make it run a little rich. But if you don't hot rod around you will do pretty good. I'm getting 19.9- 24-7 mpg in my 99f150 4.6

19 MPG? I haven't seen that on the highway in over 9 years! Wow!!! And what setting was this? Thanks for letting me know that I did not make an expensive mistake choosing this unit!
