Any thoughts on the Edge Evolution CS? I've searched high and low on the web and can't really find a sold review on the 97-03 F150 5.4

I just sold my 2007 and currently looking at buying my dads 03' Screw Fx4 5.4 I had Edge on my 07 and I loved it.

 

My transmission acts up when I run their tunes. Does not when I run my custom tune from mpt.

 

Thanks for the reply. I Picked up a used Edge Evolution 15050 today. I had extremely good luck with the same one on my 07. So I guess I'll give it a shot.

 

Those edges are prone to fail. The cables go bad. I wouldn't risk it using it if it fails while plugged into your truck it will render it useless and the dealer will have to reflash your pcm. Not cheap.

 

I just purchased an Edge Evolution CS from a guy on fb marketplace for my 2003 Supercrew and it drives/feels like a different truck. Noticeably more power and 2mpg better gas mileage, and that's on level 2. I actually prefer level 2 over 3 as I think it has better low end torque where the 3 has greater high end horsepower. People online like to scare you with exaggerated stories. Tech support at Edge is amazing too btw, In case you ever need them. Hope this helps
