dose anybody run the e3 spark plugs in a 5.4l? if so how do they preform/ your opinion on them please

I run e3's in my 4.6 and have many friends that run them.... They are good plugs and my friends have had nothing but good things to say about them

Might be the vehicle, but I ran them on my 96 Toyota T100 and they fouled after 3 months. Plus I did not see any advantage at all over typically priced plugs. Not for the price.

E3's work fine for some and some find they are crap, look at the link below to see what a fellow F150 owner found. 5.4L Triton motors are picky. Stick with Motorcraft platinums SP479.

i put them in a few weeks ago, also replaced boots, i got an extra 2 mpg, and workin good so far

Stay away from E3's they are junk and can cause hotspots on your piston and melt that hoe.
