Default E fan question?

Ok, so im looking at putting an electric fan on my truck, my question is what is the cfm rating on the factor fan. My buddy has a 12in 1200 cfm fan (at least i think thats what it is) and that had a hard time keeping his little 4.3l s10 cool. If i buy that off him and run 2 of them do you guys think it will be enough to keep my 5.4 cool?

Two of those won't pull enough cfm to be useful. 4000 cfm is what is recommended, so you'd be 1600 short right off. Ebay has those cheap fans selling for 35.00 for 2 of em. They come in colors even. They are just cheap, small fans. Valley makes some nice stuff, but you'll pay dearly. I want to change over myself, but I'll find a good quality setup and not take a chance with some small fan. That can only lead to problems down the road.

Yeah, don't go with cheap fan, I did that in my Bronco II and they didn't last, I went off roading twice and they crapped, it was soupy water.
