Default E-break worries

Last night I let my friend borrow my 01 f150 4.2L 4x2 to transport his motorcycle (about 500lbs) I helped him load it up and put on the e break... He then drove off on about an 80 mile round trip (half with the bike in the bed) and he left the emergency break on the whole time. What damage could this have caused and how worried should I be? I didn't notice too big of a difference but my breaks did feel a little looser than before. Thanks for any help!

Most likely not to much harm, sounds like they weren't that tight. Take off the back tires and inspect the pads, it is the only way to be sure they didnt get burned up. One good thing is that as drum brakes heat up they expand, to point to where braking can be ineffective, trust me, it did in my 67 Cougar, it had Drum brakes from the factory and I got them so hot they quit working. So you should be O.K.

Did someone break your brakes, or did you brake your breaks?
