Default thanx for those who replied

Had a good thought, so $12 in hardware...2 cable stops and some bicycle brake cable from the local bicycle repair place and problem solved. If I would have had the stuff in my garage...would have been free.

Thanks for the replies

Does anyone have a source (Other than Ford) for the e-brake release cable? All I need is the little cable. The handle side barrel separated from the cable. Ford quoted me $147 for the assembly.

My "fix" is not strong enough to hold for long. Tied a shoestring thru the eyelet on the e-brake handle for now.

OR does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks,
Mike

I bought the cable complete with handle at NAPA for about 30 bucks.

NAPA lists the complete assembly with handle for about 20 bucks.
