I am dyeing my tan carpet black and I have a grey interior do you think this will look good I can't find grey liquid dye can I dilute the black and make it grey

I just saw a post on here not too long ago about a guy that died his carpet black and he had gray interior. Didn't look too bad...search the form for it

My brother did it on his mustang with grey interior. He did enerything black and after about 2 years later the dash, console and door panels are still perfect. The carpet neeeds gone over again cuz ther are some spots that faded some. I think if he would have took the carpet out and cleaned it then really soaked it the thing would last forever. I'm sure the dye quality makes a huge difference too.

Hey man, I have a grey interior as well. I have the black husky liner floormats and from the color standpoint black looks excellent with the grey interior. (Keep in mind my truck is also black)

Gray interior looks great with black floor boards, can I suggest instead of dying carpet just going with black vinyl? Much easier to clean and still looks good
