Default Dust plug

Hey guys, so I wanna put my cb in my truck. I have two whips to put on the bed. Now I know there's some sort of plug (not sure the correct term) that goes through the rear of the cab. How do I access that from inside? I have a 01 supercrew

Look under the carpet in the back corners, I did the same thing on my '90.

Do you have to take the seat out first to get to the grommet that's there?

I pushed mine out from under the truck, to get to it inside I could do it with the seat in but it was a tight fit. I'm not sure how much room you have in yours it being a newer truck.

It only takes about 10 min to pull the back seats out. I have an 02 screw and pulled mine out to do the back window.

I actually figured it out today....on the 01-03 screws, you open up that rear compartment behind the rear seat on the drivers side. In there is a carpeted surface, you pull back that carpet and there's the plug. It's got like a dozen little holes in it, coved by a thin rubber piece to keep water out. That's what I'll run my cb cable through.
