Default Dual-Side exhaust question

hey guys, I have always wanted to install dual side exhaust on my truck, what i mean is like the Lightning but on both sides of the truck. I thought I heard someone say before you cant do it because of the location of the fuel tank. any pictures, ideas, or comments anyone?

This is true, the fuel tank gets in the way unfortunately...

I'll take a picture of my dual exhaust out the side when I get home.

It can be done. There is somebody that had pictures of their's on here. It looked sweet.
It looped in front of the tank, then along side it and out.

Anything can be done if you really want to.

sweet nath, thanks in advance!

silence, i see exactly what you mean but skizriz makes a good point that i guess you can loop it in front. it would be tight though, i dont know how i feel about hot exhaust pipes against my fuel tank haha but if theres a will (no pun intended) theres a way. i would love to have a setup like a shelby with 4 cylinders blowin out each side

Or was it behind the tank, and then back towards the front??
I remember seeing the pictures, and thinking thats an awful lot of bends on one side, and a simple out on the other.

I gave it some thought when I did mine. When I re-do it with stainless, I may try it.

yeah i can visualize what you mean, im going to try to see if anyone has pictures or a diagram of how they did it. i would run them like in this video i am posting below, but i would have to loose the step bars i have and i dont wanna do that haha

heres what would look badass though (granted it is an older truck)
