Default drum brake problem

I started to replace my passenger side wheel cylinder last night. I got the drum brake all apart and already put the new cylinder in. Now i have left to do is put the shoes back on and bleed it. But i cant seem to get the emergency brake cable and spring connected to the bracket on the shoe.

I have to idea how to re connect the ebrake cable and spring to the bracket thats on the shoe

Any help would be great
thanks

Got it back together. I just had to pull out the cable with a vice grips and then put another vice grips on the other side so it would go back in.

I bled it and the brake is firm and works fine but the brake light is on now. It has the right amount of fluid so i dont know how to turn this light off. could anyone tell me how to turn the light off please

Stupid question, but is your emergency brake on, even just one click maybe?
