dropped in used motor, now no electronics
Well its almost impossible to hook battery up backwards, as the neg is smaller.
I guess I can't say it sparks badly, but it smokes and starts to weld to the terminal, which I don't like one bit.
On the alternator, there is only one way it can plug in, and on the starter, I had the small terminal to the small pin, bigger terminal to the bigger pin, and the big copper connector to the bolt with an extra stud built to it. Does that bolt go on the side or bottom of the starter.
I will get the battery checked as soon as I can, kinda running on fumes right now and no extra cash.

Probably this.
There are 3 bolts to the starter. Top bolt is regular bolt. Then there is a side bolt and bottom bolt. One of the bolts I have has a stud on it. I'm asking if it goes in the side or bottom bolt hole on the starter.
