Now that I'm older it's getting harder to get in the 1999 f150. My wife hasn't been able to even with a step.(not always a bad thing). Need to know how to lower the beast

4WD Don't do off road any more. but still like the 4

 

If you didn't keep all of the stock parts, maybe you can find a friend or neighbor that would be willing to swap his stock parts with you. It is a pain in the ***, but it may save you some money scrounging for parts.
