Default DRiver-side window won't work???

Figured i would double up on my chances and start a new thread also.

Driver window (1997 Lariat-3-door)started working only when it wanted to. So I ordered a switch and put it in. It worked like it suppose to for a few weeks then stopped all together/ now nothing but a little clicking sound when the swich is pressed.(Guess i should have left it alone,it did work sometimes-Lol)
Anyway, someone mentioned checking relays, but wouldn't that envolve both of the windows stop working? Or should i go ahead and check relays or does it sound like a motor problem?
Also on another note>>> The door lock actuator on pass side stopped working so i replaced it and it was fixed but now it stopped again (thinking it has come lose due to the fact that i could not get my hand in the small door panel cut-out enough to make sure i had it on good>>think it came lose for sure)>>Does anyone have any step by step innstructions on how to properly do this install???
Any help with either one of these questions will be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks so much!!!!

As far as the window issue goes I had the same issue turned out the ground wire cracked and split inside the rubber sleeve between door and cab, wouldn't hurt to check it out

Default window problem????

Not the ground.
Replaced the relay, not it.
I think I already said I replaced the switch, not it.
I am down to the motor I guess.
Is ther some way to test it before replacing it?

I have a '98 Lariat 3 door - and chased the same ghost.
Remove the door panel, weather cover (moisture barrier), and the speaker, which will reveal the window motor. Remove the plug and clean with contact cleaner, and give it a good tap! While in there, remove any caked on grease from the regulator tracks. Spray on new Lithium grease. I found that if the motor encountered any resistance from the window, it would not work at all! Once I did that, it will open enough to allow me to assist it going down (if sluggish), and up works fine.
