Hey all! New to this site and hopefully I can get a problem solved. I have a 99 f150. I bought this truck with the door locks not working. I bought new door locks, installed them, and the work great. But when I installed the door panel, plugs and all back on, the drivers side window wont roll up or down nor will the switch work for the passenger side on the driver console. If I go to the passenger side, that window works fine. Neither window will work from the driver side. the side mirror switch and door locks work fine on the driver side console. Everything worked perfect before I changed out the lock actuators! I absolutely did not touch anything electrical for the windows other unplug the wires from the console. Is there separate relays to the windows? The fuses are fine which there is only one that I can see. Any help will be appreciated! Thanx!

 

Check for broken wires in the harness.....
where they go from the door to the pillar and bend.
you might have tugged or moved them enough to lose contact.


Basically hold the window switch while you wiggle all the wires....
If it starts working you know the area to look for a broken wire
Good luck electrical can be frustrating !
