This may seem trivial, but when I was closing my spring loaded front dual cupholder, instead of it latching, it went in further and needed a screwdriver to pry it out. I found the s/s spring latch bar had broken off the plastic. To remove the forward cupholder, use 2 flat blade screwdrivers and press down the 2 latch hooks on top to extract the cupholder. Then twist the light socket a quarter turn to remove. Drill out (2) 1/8" holes where the molded plastic mounts were, and use (2) 1/8" x 1/4" long pop rivets to mount spring latch bar. Then install light and cupholder. I also had to replace the bulb as well for $4.
