Drive Shaft replacement

My truck is a 1997 139 WB 4.6L 4X2. Are all the 97-03 139 WB driveshafts compatible? Just the 4.6L ? or are they year specific?

4.2 and 4.6 should use the same driveshaft, all other things being equal. They both mate up to the 8.8” rear.
