So got our first good rain in a few months, and as I was driving I found water dripping from the drivers side front handle.
Guessing it is a windshield seal issue? I do not have a sun roof so not that.
I had the windshield replaced 5 years ago, and no problems with it till today. It is not an issue with the door seal, that area was perfectly dry.
I know best way is to pull the windshield and reseal, but possible to just buy some butyl sealant and seal it up myself? Still raining so have not had a chance to look close at it.
Does the rubber trim around the outside just pull off or is it glued on?

I have replaced the seal on my satellite antenna and third brake light. I've also ensured the four sun roof drains are not clogged, but I still get a leak which drips off the PASSENGER side grip.
If it's not the windshield seal, then the only other causes are the sunroof seal or the door seal. Not sure which I'll throw a dart at first.
I have a 2014 Ford F-150 Supercrew.

I don't think they use butyl there blupupher...great stuff where applicable tho.
The latest is a type of 3M Window Weld.
Something like this, -

I have and will be here tomorrow.
It is a liquid butyl. It stays flexibls, unlike caulk or silicone that ends up cracking or peeling away.
I am thinking I can pull the trim around the windshield and just slather it up and hope it seals it up.
You could have developed a leak in one or more of the roof channels. They occasionally crack in the bottom of the channels at the 90 degree bends and are barely noticeable until you take a really good look. I had a couple of cracks at the rear of my cab and thought that it was the third brake light or the rear window leaking. I resealed both and still had the leak, I pulled the headliner and had someone hose the back and saw where the leaks were, but on the outside, you could barely see the cracks. I used a pick to clean out the cracks and loose paint, then applied JB Weld to the cracks, using a popsicle stick to force the JBweld into the crack, then applied a bead of the JBweld 6 inches before to 6 inches behind the crack, and used the curved end of the stick to smooth the JBweld out to a nice radius curve. On the inside, I gave the crack a good coat of JBweld.
